Elizabeth MacDonald is the senior stocks editor of the FOX Business Network, and is a founding panelist of FOX News' weekly show Forbes on Fox. Prior to joining FOX, Ms. MacDonald was a senior editor covering corporate accounting scandals at Forbes magazine. While at Forbes, she created Forbes' World's Most Powerful Women annual ranking, widely covered around the world. Prior to joining Forbes, Ms. MacDonald covered Wall Street, corporate accounting scandals, the IRS and taxes at The Wall Street Journal, where she wrote "Heard on the Street" columns, front page stories, editorials, features, and economic outlook columns. Ms. MacDonald was also a financial editor at Worth magazine and a writer at Money magazine. Her scoops include corporate accounting abuses, corruption on Wall Street, the Kennedy Administration's use of the IRS to attack its political enemies, how President George H.W. Bush avoided state income taxes, and the Church of Scientology's secret settlement with the IRS to become a nonprofit religion, based on internal IRS documents. She has won 12 awards, including the Gerald Loeb Award for Excellence in Business Journalism, the Society of Professional Journalists' Award for Outstanding Public Service Reporting, and received another Loeb nomination.
